Education:
The quality of Wisconsin's educational system is well-known, and Park Falls is no exception. Both public and private schools offer excellent educational opportunities.

    In addition to the elementary and secondary schools listed, technical education is available at North Central Technical College- Regional Campus in Price County.

    Business:
    Park Falls has a strong industrial base. Flambeau River Papers, LLC, St. Croix Rod and Reel, Saunders Wood Specialties, Weather Shield Manufacturing, and Park Falls Hardwoods make Park Falls a manufacturing center. Park Falls also offers a printing plant, a newspaper, two shoppers, WNBI/WCQM commercial radio station, WLEF-TV Wisconsin public television, and WHBM Wisconsin Public Radio.

    Medical Services:
    Flambeau Hospital is a 42-bed acute care hospital staffed by Marshfield Clinic physicians who work in the adjacent clinic. Flambeau offers a variety of inpatient services to four surrounding counties, including medical, surgical, and intensive care, obstetrics, pediatrics and geriatrics. Outpatient services include surgery, home health, 24-hour emergency care, clinical laboratories, rehab and imaging technology.

    Recreation:
    Park Falls is in the heart of the northwoods. The abundance of natural resources in the area offer Park Falls residents excellent opportunities for outdoor activities including swimming, boating, sailing, hiking, biking, ATVing, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, canoeing, camping, hunting and fishing. Other recreational activities convenient to the community include golf, racquetball, bowling, skating, hockey, softball, tennis and more! Park Falls is surrounded by 850,000 acres of the Chequamegon National Forest and 87,800 acres of the Flambeau State Forest, and is home to the Department of Natural Resources, and the National Forest Service Regional Headquarters.

    Park Falls has an active community development group; the City, the Park Falls Area Community Development Corporation, the Industrial Development Corporation, and the Park Falls Chamber of Commerce all work closely together to promote economic development.
